Lane Swimming T&Cs

1. General

  • These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of lane swimming and family swimming sessions at Kilgraston Swimming Pool.
  • By booking or attending any session, all participants agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
  • All sessions must be booked in advance via the designated booking system.

2. Sessions & Availability

  • Lane swimming and family swimming sessions are offered throughout the week.
  • Session dates and times are published on the booking system up to two weeks in advance.
  • All session schedules are subject to change.

3. Capacity

  • Lane swimming sessions are limited to a maximum of 16 participants per session.
  • Family swimming session capacity may vary depending on operational requirements.
  • Entry will not be permitted once a session is fully booked.

4. Membership & Booking Options

Kilgraston Swimming Pool offers the following ways to access sessions:

Monthly Membership

  • Monthly members may book into any available sessions at no additional cost.
  • All sessions must be booked in advance.
  • Spaces are subject to availability.

Session Bundles

  • Prepaid sessions can be purchased and used to book sessions in advance.
  • One session is deducted per booking.
  • Sessions are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Pay-As-You-Go

  • Individual sessions may be booked and paid for at the time of booking.

5. Booking Policy

  • All sessions must be booked in advance through the booking system.
  • Bookings are confirmed once successfully reserved via the system.
  • Entry will not be permitted without a valid booking.

6. Cancellations & Non-Attendance

  • If you are unable to attend a session, you must cancel your booking via the booking system at least 4 hours before the session start time.
  • Cancellations made within 4 hours of the session start time will be treated as a late cancellation, and the session fee will be forfeited.

Monthly Members

  • After 4 late cancellations or no-shows, Kilgraston Swimming Pool reserves the right to apply a temporary booking restriction or cancel the membership without refund.

Session Bundles & Pay-As-You-Go

  • Late cancellations and non-attendance will result in the loss of that session.

7. Conduct & Safety

  • All swimmers must follow pool rules and any instructions given by staff at all times.
  • Lane swimming etiquette must be observed during lane swimming sessions.
  • For children under 4 years of age, one responsible adult may supervise one child (with or without armbands), or two children provided both are wearing armbands.
  • For children aged 4–7 years, one responsible adult may supervise up to two children (with or without armbands). A third child may also be supervised if at least one of the children has achieved Swim Skills 3 (or an equivalent standard).
  • Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Non-swimmers and weak swimmers must remain in areas of the pool where they can comfortably stand, unless accompanied in the water by a parent or carer. The supervising adult must also remain in water where they can comfortably stand.
  • Kilgraston Swimming Pool reserves the right to refuse entry or require any participant to leave if their behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or they fail to comply with these conditions.

8. Membership Terms

  • Memberships are ongoing and may be cancelled in accordance with the provider’s terms.
  • • If you wish to cancel your membership, please email info@youngtalentswimschool.com. Your membership will remain active until the end of your current billing month and will then be cancelled.
  • Memberships may be frozen upon request for a maximum of six months. Please notify us by email with as much notice as possible before your next billing date. Memberships will automatically resume at the end of the agreed freeze period, with the membership extended by the length of the freeze.
  • Memberships are non-transferable.
  • Kilgraston Swimming Pool reserves the right to amend session availability, structure, or access arrangements with reasonable notice.

9. Changes & Cancellations by Operator

  • Sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Where possible, advance notice will be given.
  • Any affected bookings will be credited or adjusted where appropriate.

10. Liability

Kilgraston Swimming Pool accepts no responsibility for personal injury or loss or damage to personal belongings, except where required by law.

11. Data & Privacy

  • Personal information provided during booking will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
  • Information will only be used for booking, communication, and operational purposes.
